Karma Ice Kreme founders, Ally Teixeira and Jeanette Murillo, met in 2011 in Santa Monica, California. Not long after their newfound friendship, they were casually finding each other at different events throughout Los Angeles. It’s almost as if fate wanted our founders to become good friends and make this world a little sweeter!
Jeanette went on to graduate from CSULA with a Public Health degree, entered a pre-med program at USC and went on to pursue a career as a real estate broker. Ally got her MBA from Pepperdine University, became a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and hosted a food/travel show called “Vegan on a Jet Plane.”
Five years later on a trip to Manhattan, New York, Ally and Jeanette ventured out to explore the energetic vivid city. Strolling through town and talking about healthy foods and recipes, the idea of Karma Ice Kreme was born!
They joined forces and created small artisan batches of hand-scooped ice flavors that your taste buds will appreciate while making your body feel good! Full of exotic flavors and always vegan and gluten-free, they named their company Karma, a “feel good name for a feel good dessert!”
